i think what coldcar meant by looking is not literally to look but rather.. see the pattern tt all these cars are FR… of cos u cant identify a car’s drivetra...

I believe wat dcx is trying to say is that to able to identify whether the car is a FF or FR, got to read car mag. Just as wat coldcar stated....... He is also saying that by seeing the pics where can he know whether the car is a front wheel drive or a rear wheel drive.

No lah, no offence, I thought there's some way that we can see whether this car is FF or FR...Coz from my knowledge, I didn't know there's some way to tell, so asking him, I also want to learn mah, don't want to be ignorant right?

Maybe there's something that I don't know... Forums are somewhere we can learn a thing or two right?

If you notice, S13 is the only model in the silvia family that's spotted with the flip-type headlamp, like the old MX-5. Hope you know what I am talking about. I have never seen S13 with that headlamp, so I think it's a S12. Maybe they mod the front part... I don't know... Never seen a S13 likr that before in our shore...

dats a sil80. in japan, the 180sx and s13 silvia are different models sharing the same platform. honda did the same with the civic and integra. there was the NA K versions and FI Q versions of both. one fine day, they decided to fuse the 2 models together using the s13's front and the 180 sx's rear, thus creating the sil80 (silvia front, 180sx rear) we are looking at.

one way to spot an FR is by looking at the length of the engine compartment (long bonnet) due to the layout of the engine….just compare the EVO & the rest….
