I watched a show in which the main character said "It does not
make sense to pledge allegiance to a country who will not protect
you." After seeing things that happen around, this statement really
sinks in.
If your current company have the factor to retain your heart, no
amount of money can attract you away from your job.
My previous companies don't pay me well. And runs on very stupid
policies. I left the first company to join the 2nd in April and
found that its not any better. Both large singaporean companies.
Very paper qualifications obssessed, talents & capabilities
doesn't matter. Then A German MNC appreciated my contributions
& approached me to join them. Now I am in this company, my 3rd
of the year and I cannot be better. My pay went up 50% more than
what I was getting 6 mths ago. Even though the work is lesser, I
get more recognition and global exposure. This is the main reason
why I decided to come to the German MNC.
Move according to the tides where you will be able to
contribute more of course harvest more. Do not pledge allegiance to
the company who will not appreciate you.
