Ordinary wedding at Chinese restaurant, I usually give $40-$60
ang pao, because I estimate 1 table is priced at $400+ to $500+. I
see the number to tables there, they sure make one.
If the relationship is good, I give more. (Nephew wedding give $350
)
But small wedding at posh places, I don't give ang pao. I give
presents. Which is actually cheaper. The wrapping is of course very
nicely done.
But I don't know how the couple feel.
They sure rugi one.
