tom dick harry who manage to sue you and get you to court will have
a home ground advantage liao

IMHO, Subhas also feel pity for the 16 yr old boy la. Granted
raping is a serious, inhumane crime but honestly speaking when you
are 16 years old, are you really able to think things through
before acting.
Forget about the caning sentence, just the 20 year imprisonment
would mean that he would come out at age 36 for something he did
when he was an irresponsible, hormonal 16 year old youth. I
remember (maybe not correctly) that one particular FT got away with
just 10 years for murder right?
