People who 'see buay song' such simple things also tend to be insecure and have an inferiority or superiority complex.

I only dislike them when they actually act-out the racing part by driving dangerously with their souped up rides. Otherwise they are pretty harmless. Let's be more tolerant! Very Happy

then why like no one upgrade their engines one? everybody talks about the exterior only one, although i have seen shops that sell engine upgrades in spore also

1st its not cheap... some just make enough to spend on cars and other things with little savings left..( just like me.. regret never make a good proper planning before buying car... at least now life easier..)

2nd so modification are not legal.. imagine spend so much then ganna caught.. have to pay summon have to change back engine.. the time n effort n money is sometimes just not worth it at all....

i'm about to contradict myself.

i just saw a rav4 w stickers. very nice. not over done.

family saloons please dont put any stickers on your car, unless you really want the free petrol from SPC.

turbochargers are allowed?... LoL, seriously how much do u know about the LTA regulations or about car modification or should i ask u how much u actually know about cars. if mods are so easily allowed here, u wouldnt see so much rides with juz stickers only. its because they cant spend their money on "real" performance parts thats why they spend it on cosmetics instead.

no leh my uncle's Mercedes Vito has a turbocharger and its LTA approved in fact superchargers are also allowed

im not accusing anybody here nor have intention doin so, im juz bringin the fact that trying to install a supercharger/turbocharger is not allowed in singapore or rather impractical. ur uncle's Vito came with a turbocharger from its OEM thus it is LTA approved. its not aftermarket installation of turbocharger.

read this line:The addition of superchargers or turbochargers to a vehicle may adversely affect the safe operation and its exhaust emission characteristics.
so do u really think our vehicle installed with turbocharger or supercharger can easily pass the test? it'll probably need to go through so much paperwork and $$$ that it'll make it impractical to install and probably with that money, people might as well buy a TC car.

ermm... poser?? wrx impreza 2.0 Tc call poser? I dun get the point..in what way did thay pose? are u talking about ts1.6 trying to pose as rex? rex impreza is already 2.0tc... juz that its a grade lower to sti which has better performace parts in it. like bigger intercooler bucket seat high spolier etc.

screeching as in tyre rubber or engine screeching. want loud sound during acclerating so ez... get an open pod ramp high loud enough liao.

smoke from the tyres?? while moving or moving off? u see wrongly liao lar... he put dry ice under the car chasis for the smoke effect only...lolz

smoke coming out from tyres? wat either his tyre has no more friction or he turn corner very fast, if not, i think u see wrongly. cause a normal 4wd wont wheel spin and not so easy to lose traction until got smoke come out.

Turbochargers ARE allowed.If you follow the scene and the updated regulations, you'd be surprised.

Disclaimer : It's not easy to import turbochargers for installation, due to the cost needed to perform certification for engine compatibility. So get the JIS certified ones if you want a legal uprating.
