I dun have more than 20 bucks with me.I always use credit card.

i’ve got an savings account with atm wothdrawal with posb. they pay pathetic interest. is there any other banks with nets/ atm withdrawal that has better rate?

standard chartered bank e$saver..

1.50% now ba..

when i applied, it was 1.88%

now ocbc bank got another one ar.. once u apply, they give u $20-50 depending whether u apply for salarycredit or savings account.

ya. try e$avers. but they do not have ATM/NETS. no minimum amount.

you have to transfer money through internet if you need money, so it requires a bit if cash-flow planning.

there's a way.

Open e$saver and xtraSaver. xtraSaver have ATM card. Ask them to tag your e$aver account to the ATM card. Presto, you now can access both your aaccounts via ATM.

Problem is locating their ATM.

you can try airgrinder's method. this is really a good option.

I know your're still young *cough* but if you have 5K in your bank, you can try MayBank's iSavvy savings account... the interest is 1.68% pa if i'm not wrong.
Problem with isavvy is that you need 5k min. But StandChart does not.

this amount not sufficient for you to invest with financial advisors to enable to you earn 8% interest per year...

save up more money first..than go find them..there are lots of higher interest via investments with banks..

it's called Xtra savers..

it's linked to ur e$savers account...comes with a atm card and a cheque book.

but then if u really wana save.. try not to apply for the card.
