After world war 2, Japan is not allowed to have a strong army and USA will defend Japan if Japan got attacked.

Do you all believe that USA or the United Nations(UN) will really defend Japan if it got attacked?

After World War 2, the european countries have all declined and right now the only 2 powerful countries in the world is China and America so if you talk about UN, it is basically just China and America while the rest of the countries are really much weak and useless

What if 1 day China attack Japan? Considering that USA is busy fighting so many wars in iraq, against terrorism etc, do you think the USA will help defend Japan?

I don't think so because many americians are so sick of fighting wars so they won't want to go and defend Japan which is not even their homeland.

Moreover, I think USA will not be able to defeat China also even if they want to defend Japan.

Think about the vietnam war. USA was so strong at that time and China was so weak and yet USA could not defeat China back than. Now that China has become so strong and it is such a big country, the USA is weakened by so many wars they fight, they definetly won't be able to defeat China.

If land war, U.S probably won't go for the long haul, but if naval or aerial conflict, U.S military too high tech, so they will probably win.

China wont attack Japan for no reason as Japan military strength is quite powerful.

The chances of China attacking Taiwan is much higher if a stupid pan green camp president in the future go and declare taiwan as a independent state. China will attack Taiwan.

USA can chose to protect Taiwan or don't care, let Taiwan be taken back.

I think U.S or other western powers go and invade and attack other countries more possible.

For example USA attacking Yugoslavia(1999), Afghanistan(2001), Iraq(2003) and Libya(2011).

China attack others, I consider unlikely unless it is to reclaim Taiwan.

Mao became more or less zany in his last years and also never invaded any country.

China is not stuipd. Japan has big investment in China. Do you know that a Panasonic Factory township is 2 times Toa Payoh town? Japan help China to feed it own people so why attack it? For Taiwan both side has investment unless Taiwan is stuipd to openly declare independent. Iphone factory Foxcom is an example of taiwan factory in China.What China do now is to help Japan to rebuild after big earthquake. money buy,control and show off power on almost everything. It pays to be contented and appreciate own country than to conquer other people's country. And don't complain why nowadays young people are slack! Being slack is good as they don't have heart to conquer other people's country. It's good to enjoy life as life is short.

China doesn't have president, so no chance of a crazy one.

Last time Japan didn't have good heart, so they attacked china. Now china are all good heart, so they won't attack japan.

but dprk dont have good heart, so they develop nuclear, I believe when dprk actually attack anybody, prc will have to decide if they want to be good heart or not.
