just now I went to adam food court for a drink. When I passed by the small road(leading to TCS, dunnno the name of road), I saw a yellow lotus driven by a young pretty gal. Thought she was going to other place. When I reach adam food court, saw the lotus waiting for a parking lot.
sigh...how come there are people who are so rich? Go makan can take bus, but drive a lotus there. very envious....how i wish i was born in such a family... Rolling Eyes

still there are many rich who lived further up and not within walking distance.
Not say that rich people not happy lah. They dun have problems with buying things. When I want to buy a car, I need to calculate whether I got enuf to pay for installments anot. Then got to consider different models, see which one I can afford. Still need to think of petrol costs, road tax, insurance etc...
Rich ppl want to buy, they just go there and buy...their problems are just different from poor ppl like me.

Not necessarily true... working one's ass off doesn't mean one'll get rich... in fact the reverse is usually true - The rich don't have to work very hard to earn their keep, whilst the poor slog like siao still poor. Neutral

I have to say this. I am not rich but im actually quite well off and my dad always tells me this.

The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. Cause the poor wanna look rich but the rich just wanna be normal.

Although it doesn't really apply for a alot of people i think its quite true.

And i watched an interview of a tycoon in sg on channel news asia. He said "the rich aren't people who can earn a lot of money however those who have good financial planning". Go figure
