I am sick of having to repeat this but just go read SpoonX's posts. He is directly related to the driver and he claimed that Mazda DID NOT speed. I personally have driven on Paya Lebar and there is no way for you to speed in broad daylight.

i think we are just discussing how this happen. Anyway dont think anyone knows exactly what happens, maybe the driver himself.

By the way I think it is quite harmless lor, think we never show any disrespect to the lady.

people here are so angry because this basket has no reason to be there. He drove a punto, is a warehouse sup. Meaning, he has no way to buy a mx5. Want to test drive, can...but should be more humble and drive safely. He thought he is dunno who, speed here and there. That's why got into the accident and lost an innocent person's life...

Is the driver telling the truth?? only god knows. If he think by bringing in all excuses will make him feel better, be it.

I can only say he is not a good and responsible driver.

We should have a proper circuit for these demons to test their own limits (and the limits of the car), instead of making them use public roads with armco here, metal plates there and other road users.

i think the best punishment is:

1)that he will lost his lisence to drive. So his new punto would have to sell away, making a loss to him.
2)the debt he incurred to mx5, $110000.

Imagine this debt on a warehouse sup, sure bankrupt for many years to come.
And may he reflect all his doings while sitting in the bus or mrt when travelling.

Your presence at the wake had a deep psychological impact in your reasoning towards the incident hence, I shall not question you if you decide to push all blames to the driver and condemn him to death.

If a person is driving safely, how can he get himself into a FATAL accident? Please give us a reasonable scenario that a safe drive can get into a fatal accident, then we buy your reasoning...

I was driving a 2005 Mercedes SLK. There is no reason why you would see a similarity between my car and the Mazda. Both cars are structurally, mechanically, compositionally and dynamically different. My point is, a vehicle does play a role in an accident.
