Girls are usually the one who thinks it as an expression of
love. Guys are more able to tell whether it's lust or love, and the
oldest tactic in the book is to coerce the girls into having sex
with them by using 'love'. It might be old, but I think it works
very well. 
Sometimes, it's also unfortunate that the guys only realised that
it's lust, not love after the deed.
Plus the fact that first love, and relationships at such a young
age usually doesn't work out, it's best to exercise more
self-control and be more assertive. It is so that the kids won't
run into any form of unwanted problems, and that the girls won't
get into a lose-lose situation.
