Btw, would like to share some comments after driving for 3 mths. Not sure if other ppl have similar experiences Shocked
1) Very slow pick up.. Step on accerlator and still cannot rush off fast
2) Feel that the car is tilting very badly when doing acute turning... Have to maintain speed at 50km whn doing my turns..haiz
3) Hand brake seems to be less grip as time goes by. Have to pull firmly all the way up...
4) Lastly, the creaking sound when u off your engine

1) Find the G-spot for your altis.
2) Install camber kit or strut bar or both better.
3) Get any mechanic to tighten it or raise it to BM on your next servicing.
4) Tat sound indicate your engine is cooling off.

I think if u can get a good SE… he/she would actually offer you the non-guranteed price, but gentleman agreement that he would get the COE for you… sort of like a rebate thingy… that was my experience…dunno bout the others

EH yah. totally agree on all the following above, in additional, i want to add pt.
5): The brake too seems cant to brake well, need to press alot. jialat... the suspension also realli........... when driving speed abit fast, turning will cause a rolla coasta ride for the passengers... heh Confused [/b]

I need your help with the following input: Question

1) What is the minimum sum of deposit that BM require for Altis?

2)Is there any other fund $$$ that you need to set aside beside the deposit. (Like road tax and insurance or everything is cover inside the selling price)

(1) 10.5K deposit. If you hv a car to trade in, it's 5K.
(2) nothing else to pay.

my SE told me so far it has been 100% success even under non-guaranteed scheme. the only diff is maybe u get your COE faster with guaranteed one.

i got the coe at the next round of bidding under the non guranteed scheme, but i still had to wait for 1 mth plus cos the cars haven't arrived yet

I'm new in this forum. Hello to everybody. I noticed that there are a lot of "Hidden dragon crunching tiger" in this forum (means a lot of car experts). Laughing
Just booked my car last Wed 3pm when the COE has just increased to 23,700++. Managed to get 1 SE from Ubi recomended by my friend. Initially, thought she is very nice, and help me save $1k, since after that day, increase to 70k++, mine is 69k++ for Deluxe.
I've came across people in this forum said can get $500 rebate without any other freebies. So, my SE offered $300. Think o.k.lah !
However, heard from somebody else the same SE offered rebate of $1k for Vios. So, wonder, what is the market offer now? How come such a big difference?
What is the Deluxe package included?
Heard that many accessories have to check upon collecting the car, some say the SE will keep some of the accessories eg airocn filter etc.
Anyone can enlighten me a bit, Idea how come so complicated ah? So many hidden things meh to buy a new car? Sad

Hi ppl,
Still new to owning and driving a car... so would like to ask some advice. I feel that my front tyres seems to be a bit inflated liao (maybe my illusion or over-kiasu)...but dunno how to confirm it.

Can we ask the petrol stn attendants to check for us? If yes, which area in the petrol station should i drive to, i reckon it's not at the pumping points rite?? Many thks.

Last qn...how often should we pump and change our tyres??? Mr. Green

dont think any petrol kiosk have this kinda service. try to check tyres pressure every fortnight.

i pump my front tyre 230 and rear tyre 220. hope this help Wink
