hey fellow altisans,

i just bought my altis and wanted to do the solar film.... as mine is a champagne gold, i';m not sure whether having the rear windows in a darker shade (25%) while my front windows in a lighter shade (70%) will look nice.... havent seen any on the road so far.... any one of u haf done dat.... can post ur pic here?

mine is grey, look OK. Install with Hupper Optik.
Sometime I still can feel hot if direct shine at my hand while driving under very hot sun, but my passenger seat behind don't feel any hot. if LTA allowed, I am sure to change all to 25%!

I agreed that the woodgrains are better looking than the previous version they giving out... even the "bodykit" looks better too....

heard there is this brand for cooling called sun-kool, very cheap only... abt $300 per sedan car... anyone can verify? n is it good?

The most important thing in the solar film is the specification. UV, IR rejection rate that is. Then you compare the price. Apple to Apple comparison. If you want just the tinted look, either do in JB or around Eunos many cheap cheap films for less than 150!

Done from the front to back is 70%, 50%, 25%, 25% VLT.

Hi Speedy,
Feel that our altis pick-up and power is less than desirable. I feel engine drag once there's 2 or more pax sitting behind..sigh.. Razz
but good thing is that altis is quiet and good for leisure driving... my 2 cents worth.

Hello.. anyone faced this issue on Altis whereby once you accelerate more suddenly than usual, there is “click” sound that seems to come from the back of the car ? Also this sound seems to come on also at times when car is put into reverse. My car is only a month old. I have some colleagues who bought Altis recently who is facing the same issue also. Any comments ?

yeah... most of the time driving alone is quite alrite, still enjoy the ride.... but not when i got heavy weighters or full car load.... pick up oso no good.... sometimes lorries overtake me when starting off at traffic lights.... Embarassed

not too sure abt dat.... normally i will on my audio to abt 20 when i'm driving ..... so can hardly hear any sounds.... i'll try lata on my way home and see whether there is this sound..... post back again....

For look 16" rims , Perform 15" rims , difference; its just at the pick up point (gear 1 for auto ) (gear 1 and 2 for ml) . not really much difference ,as only turning ratio incress by 0.6m. Unless two same model car test for pick up.

Try not to sudden heavy press on the assy due to this will decress the power of the VVTI tech Exclamation , smooth assy will be better for pick up of heavy load. Check over drive on or off ? Toyota power with the main over drive function to incress power and lower fuel c . Idea
Not mitsubishi not honda....
Can use the loading gear 1 or 2. CVT gear is so much better than in ur normal auto 4 speeds Altis when heavy loading, but Altis VVTI tech can be better just dun rush.. Drive smoothly .

1 and 3 is still fine but for the ( 2 ) agent might not wanna to get involve due to its involve the electric of the car. Check with b.m .
