1) No but not advisable cos throttle body get dirty faster than stock airfilter.
2) No, as long as not tapped onto ECU and no modification to electrical components.
3) Subjective. This affect the suspension, drive shaft, brake rotor, calipers.

Any minor mod is a potential to have warranty void even painting the caliper! It's a matter of what will be void and what will not be.

Hi Guys,

I got a lobang for side mirror indicator lights for Altis. When you signal, these lights will blink on your side mirrors too! These are usually found on continential cars such as Mercedes and BMW, but I'm sure we all want our cars to look even more stylish! Very Happy

The 2 side mirrors comes with installation for $180. We have done up several Altis already and we have side mirror lights for Camrys and Vios as well. For queries, you may contact Yan @ 6794 2761 or check out Car Assessories @ Jurong Point #B1-46.

For pics of how it looks, pls give me your emails and I'll email them to you. Can't seem to host up a pic here. Wink Cheers!

hi, i’m just wondering if any of you altis’ owners out there experienced this….i just bought my altis recently and i noticed each time i step on the brake pedal, there’s this cracking sound coming out from the gear box, like something is loosen inside. didn’t seem to hear it when the car is in motion but when it’s stationary and i stepped on the brake, the sound came on again. do i need to bring it to the workshop? thks

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what are the side skirts of an Altis for?

I'm planning to get my Altis basic from BM. Does anyone knows what are the freebies I can push for? V-Cool? Leather seats? Or even bodykit?

I'm not trying to be a cheapskate but I just want to get my money's worth. It ain't easy making money nowadays. Rolling Eyes

I think generally BM is not very flexible in this respect. You can squeeze a little bit, but don't expect too much. E.g. you could get a discount off V-Cool, but unlikely to get it entirely free Smile

GreyPhox SG

If I wanna get leather seats, do you think I can get it for free?

Anyway, anyone knows what are the side skirts for?

Hi Bro,

I'm actually helping my friend post online for this item. There are other types of car covers in the market, including cheaper versions. However, these may be taiwan-made and the workmanship is not so good. The ones my friend is doing is exactly the same as what Toyota is using for their cars in Thailand.

You can call up my friend for a discount if yer keen. He's very obliging and particular on workmanship. Call Lawrence at 9691 4949. Cheers! Very Happy
