JLow SG HELP! I've got a slight scratch on my Altis, rear left-side. Just discovered yesterday. I'm so damn mad at whoever did this. My precious baby is only 3 weeks old and i really took great care of her especially when parking, making sure there's ample space in between cars. The scratch is light greenish-yellowish about 6cm long. It's not clearly visible but hey! she's new and it's so 'heart-pained' to see yr new car 'scarred'. Can constant polishing remove the line? I'm still fuming over whoever did this. Not one to curse and swear but this time ....... %$#@*(&^%#@&)*!!!!!
deepakvali SG U should be able to have it at quite a couple of body kit shops in Singapore. Get a copy of Wheels or any Singapore published automotive magazine, you will probably be spoilt for choice. Alternatively, drive across the causeway, once again u have lots to choose from.

altis183 SG If the scratch is not very deep then its possible to remove it by using polishing or wax.but if the scratch is quite deep then maybe you can think of spraying that particular portion...the paint left on your car might be from the one that scaratch you so hopefully it did not hurt your original paint work of your car....

El Nino SG From what I gather from my SE, you've to order for it together with your car. If not, got $ also cannot buy (this is the exact words of the SE). Also, even if you ordered it, it will only come later, several weeks after collecting your car as there seems to be a shortage for it. Cost $338/= from BM. I suggest you go JB to source for it. Was informed that for S$500, you can get the full body kit over there, but don't think the kits are original Toyota parts. But who knows anyway, as long as the kit looks good on the car. Just my RM0.02 worth of information.
deepakvali SG The grill was lightly modified to fit the '04 Altis. No modification is done on our Altis, only on the grill. Paid RM240+ for the Fibreglass Grill/Spray/Labour. I initially got a '03 Altis grill and had it sprayed (another installer) only to realise it cannot fit. Now that I know how the sizes differ and what must be done to fit it in, i am wondering if anyone is keen to buy that grill over. Can then recommend the installer to you to lightly modify the grill to sui sui fit The grill has been sprayed to Body Colour 209 (Black Micra)....anyone keen, let me know S$50 only.... Installer will probably charge you RM$20 to fit n modify.

As to where to get the kit in JB, am sorry that I can't help you now as I'm still waiting for my car's delivery . [/b]Hi, i called my agent and was told that from now on we are able to get the side skirts form them.. i think other stuffs also will have.will check it out and post here for the people here.now i waiting for my agent to call me to confrim the price.
toyota_lover SG Saw 1 black altis with body kit ard midnight at TPE going towards Pungol estate. Quite nice hor... Btw, are there horizontal kinda front grille other than mesh type? Kinda look hollow with the mesh grille. No offence bro....
deepakvali SG The horizontal grille type is similar to US Altis. Try to surf some US sites, they do sell the OEM Altis grill cheap.
El Nino SG this is a very good news cos I also forgot to place an order for the skirts at the time of booking.
