Hi guys

I booked my Altis last Sunday, last day b4 interest rates increase. But disappointed that BM did not bid for my COE on 14(Mon)/15(Tue) March. How come BM did not bid for me this round? Is this common?

Also SE offered me $150 rebate. Wondering what's the usual rebate amount from SE?

Also thinking to V-cool (Mirage pk) my Altis, cos my car colour is black. How much should I pay for it?

Please advise. Thanks... Smile

Hi,

Mostly where u all go buy the car? The price we get from Borneo is abt $70K.
Anywhere to get good price?

ed2004 SG

altis 1.6 basic is 65k

If you can spare additional 8 - 10k, go for the 1.8L.

Hi, I am considering buying Altis Elegance or Civic. Some one told me that The Engine for Altis is louder and more inferior compared to Civic. What do u guys think? I prefer the interior for Altis. Appreciate some advice.

Good day.

Okie, for the Corolla Altis. There's some problem. Theorectically on paper it shld be able to hit 12-13 km/l. But unfortunately, many of my frens are clocking only 10+km/l. I dunno wad is wrong with it. I've checked with my mechanic frens but they got no idea too.. 10+km/l is abt the same as wad the current Nissan Sunny is clocking even though its a heavier car with a 7yr old QG engine. I think BMS muz look into this matter ASAP. Its suppose to be VVT-i and shld save fuel, not use more...

Are you sure ur wife got 16.2 km/l?? Did u go change ur air filter, engine oil and spark plugs?? Its very unbelievable... 13+ i already find it hard to believe le... haha...

Okie, the Corolla Altis on safety ratings wise is far better than the Honda Civic. Yes i admit the Honda Civic has a more powerful engine than the Altis... But safety wise it cannot be compared... Have u guys ever read newspaper that report Civics going under our SBS buses during accidents with the car front totally gone and the drivers head got chopped off?? My instructor told me and showed me the articles.. No joke.. Scary huh...

Yo2020 SG

stock altis can easily get 12+.

Yo2020 SG

then y ssdc is using civic?? Shocked
