deepakvali SG had mine fitted at Riverview. Not too nice to mention prices online but it is in the regions of $70+ which includes filter, catridge and labour. to not cut any hole to fit the filter would mean the filter will not have a perfect fit. That would be gaps that allow air mass to flow through without being filtered but anyway, its a situation of to each his own. : )

deepakvali SG the 2 brands of Voltage stabilisers you outlined have the same function, they are jus of different brands. i personally have Z-Stab which is the budget version supposingly to be designed on a FL-G9. a horn upgradge which is cheap n good is STEBEL Magnum II. Shiok....one hell of a nightmare for a pedastrian who dream to cross the road.
toyota_lover SG Bro, wats the cost of z.stab including installation and where did u fixed tat? i have come across horn which are damn loud with echo somemore. bloody hell horn ppl they'll blown away.....man (not for the faint hearted) eh...now i have headache on where to fix the bloody big amp.
deepakvali SG the z-stab i diy one. bought from the z-stab guy by the name of jonathan.... if u want, i can help u fix it, its very easy actually. 1 wire to +ve, 1 wire to -ve. if u have a big amp, best if u mount in the boot lor....
X-BoY SG Hi guys, I'm very new here and just spent my few day finished all the "altis club" tread whoopy 50 pages + these 3 pages I'm getting my silver altis 1.6 soon (depend on COE loh, non-guarantee one, the earlier I can get is the early Oct stock, still waiting) I'm really interested to know about the solar film. The SE told me got 2 type that from BM, that's the V-Kool ($850 for whole car) and Huper Optik (listed $950, but SE said could give $800). From our post msg here I saw that some of you guys can get $700, $750(b4 gst) etc for the Huper Optik. May I know how to get this deal. Can I just talk it thru with the SE? I believe this $700 is a right price loh
NoL|Fe SG hi people out there... just went malaysia check out body kit for altis.... they are charging mod body kit which is rubber for 900+ riggit. For kit that is for altis they charging 700+ riggit (not rubber). the mod body kit cheap but look like $E%#$. ugly~ haha any comment guys? plus anyone know how much BM is charging for SCUFF plate? does cost of side skirt for altis from BM comes with spray to color of ur car???
toyota_lover SG V-kool should be a better choice. Ask your SE to cover some of the cost for you. But since you already signed the dotted line, you're in their mercy. Had some complains abt huper here. Btw, V-kool needs to cut a hole for in car ERP unit. You should be able to get your car ard 1.5mth from the date you booked it.
toyota_lover SG Guess some bros did mentioned ard $348 for the side skirt from BM. Btw, bodykit will add on weight to your car. FC will go higher in this case. Unless you cant live w/o kits. Spend your hard earned money on spark plug n KN filter. Just my own opinion.
orion99 SG Having hard time deciding whether to take the basic or deluxe package for Altis. Need some opinion here: 1) is it hard to maintain the beige leather? heard that it tend to crack if not taken care of properly and tend to turn yellow. is it necc. to polish or clean the leather say more often than once a month? 2) anyone had the leather seat for altis done outside? how much it cost? is the workmanship and quality better than the one done by BM or Toyota? 3) will the deluxe version fetch a higher price than basic? what if the leather seat was done outside?

I was told by the SE saying that "V-kool is made of metal while Huper Otik is by Ceramic" (or the other way round, fogot liao) then he continued to say that the V-kool that their SC fixed for Toyota owner previously (few years back) now having problem with their back windscreen. He said that the heat line @ back caused the V-kool film to have rust stained and need to be replaced (luckily got warranty loh)...few cases liao....what do you think?
toyota_lover SG At least you know V-kool's warranty are valid to date... Btw, as i mentioned in my previous posting. Solar films seems to lost its effect after a few months. These are the same experience share by a few friends of mine. Maybe they just get use to the heat reduction or is it the film. Only problem is the rear windscreen with de-mister coz when you decide to replace other darker films in future it may damage them in the process. You wont get the better of both sides. Its your choice bro. I've just change my spark plug, KN filter, installed Z-stab. Will update any improvement on FC n performance later.
X-BoY SG wow....u really do a lotz of thing to your babe while waiting 4 my car to arrive, i'm thinking of grounding, KN filter, Stabel Magnum II horn, voltage stabiliser (still looking dunno which one better) and change the stock tyre to 195/65R14....so exciting u know....but dunno got budget for all these or not yeah....i guess i'll just look ard and install one...regarding the back windscreen one i guess it's a problem we all will face loh anyway, i'll try to follow the LTA one by getting VLT 70% at front and 25% at back (the 25% is newly implemented)
