Obersturmfuhrer SG It's been quite some time since there were any activities in this thread and it almost faded into oblivion. Don't point fingers at me, go bark at the local embassies as to why their ships are not passing by here. I think its Indonesian but cannot confirm that. The ensign was too far to be clearly seen.
spencer99 SG It looks pretty small... noticed how "big" the gun turret look.. look like a MGB/PV type of vessel.... looks like it has "Soviet" lines.. if Indoenisan, maybe those that they bought from East Germany last time.
storm_freaky13 SG im a noob when it comes to warships, can tell me the 'soviet' line on the ships? I only know a lot of russian vessels have huge ass missile launchers.
spartan6 SG Ya e "soviet line" can clearly be seen mostly like an Indoenisan vessel I remember some Malaysian vessel also have " soviet line"
spartan6 SG A Malaysian Spica-M? There r some places tat dun look like it but it e nearest ship class i know of
Obersturmfuhrer SG Someone went down to the French embassy and pressed a few buttons? Because these two floated pass this morning. Lead ship of her class of first rank frigates that are essentially Destroyers. F70 type anti-submarine frigate FNS Georges Leygues (D640). Moonstriker SG the other choppers are inside the hangar bay. there's another gazelle and 2 alouettes inside the hanger. close up pic when it was here:
calvin2224 SG Jeanne D’Arc and Georges Leagyues were on pass-ex. There was an onboard reception for French nationals on the first weekend the 2 ships were here. The aircraft deck received awnings and there was even a band. I wonder if overseas Singaporeans get such welcoming when the LSTs dock overseas.
Obersturmfuhrer SG They have nothing against me. I have yet to post anything that is not within public domain. Jokes aside. Here's the KD Mahimaru (MCMV 11). Mahimaru (Lerici) class Minehunter.
Obersturmfuhrer SG This little fella was the last in line of a procession of 3 ships crossing the Straits today, led by a Fearless class patrol boat followed by a Parchim class frigate and then this little bugger. The FPB 57 type Nav V fast patrol boat from the Indonesian Navy. The KRI Todak (PV803)
calvin2224 SG Well it appears 2 Indian Kashin IIs are in harbour- INS Rana D52 and INS Ranjitm along with INS Khutar P46, a corvette. The INS Rana sailed in with a band playing on its helipad too! Also spotted, a Japanese oiler and a destroyer.
