Wow great pictures again Obersturmfuhrer!
Seeing the Nimitz pics really brought back memories back in 1987 (I
think), when the Nimitz CBG and the New Jersey group rendezvous off
East Coast and it was a damn awesome sight to see the ships
anchored off facing each other. It was as if half of the USN's
Pacific Fleet was in Singapore! 
But then that visit was perhaps timed to concide with a major
American Tourist Association meeting in Singapore then. I
remembered seeing the ST running a pic of bustling Orchard Road
with US MPs in full uniform 'patrolling' this belt to ensure the
Servicesmen stays in 'order'!
Anyway, that was the 1st time and only last time, that I saw the
New Jersey in person (I stood at East Coast and used a bincoulars
and saw the unmistakable penchant number '62' at the bow.
Anyone remembered that visit?
