tankfanatic SG the monggol bow were also known as ‘the composit bow’ it is very powerfull…it was built by laminating birch or bamboo wood, ibex horns and animal tendons bound together with an adhesive made from animal hide and fish bladder….
hloc SG I think each have their own advantage.... The Long Bow have range but can't be use on a horse. The Composit Bow might have shorter range, but when use with horses, give the rider the power to travel long distance and great mobility.
Shotgun SG Yeah, draw length is definitely important. Wooden bows are known to stack like crazy once passed the stack point. Since in those days, most of their bows are made of wood… Maybe they achieved their 166lb draw by stacking.
abao SG each bow to its own, what i feel is most important is the training. without training, no bowman is effective. Unless you use the Repeating Crossbow.
