ok lar, maybe not yr fault, the "made in china" watch is a bit slow maybe due to battery weak. Wink

but frankly speaking, seldom normal seden can do 0-100 in 7s. normal means stock car, 1.6L or 2.0L or 2.4L (Accord/Camry) without turbo charging or any add on. stock manual Civic VTi-S best is high 8, that is with very good launching by professional driver (Fit is slower than civic).

just bear in mind, if 7s so easily achieve, no body will be looking at sport car liao. Than what so special about WRX doing a 6.1s, LGT doing 6.9s, S60T5 doing 6.9s ..........etc?? Even 156JTS (semi maual, think electronic clutch-in will change gear faster than normal driver) doing around 8-8.2s

I hope to own a sub 7s car but wont buy sunny for sure Mr. Green

Thanks! I'll be going to Beijing next month on business and would like to drop by the club to test some cars....provided I can get to test cars like you did (otherwise, it'll just be like Pasir Gudang).

The problem is that I've seen the website and there is no mention that the club provides cars for you to test (as you've mentioned in an earlier post).

I've looked through the Member Benefits, etc etc.....and it says that we can view car racing, learn about cars, enjoy fishing, enjoy limousine pick-up from the airport, etc etc.

The closest thing I found was that there are 12 (?) car shops where we can see new cars, received advise on new cars, test drive the new cars, get advise on the value of our present cars, etc.....basically, a car shop like in Singapore.

How do I apply to test cars, like you did? And how much is it?

(I would really, really like to see the Sunny which you brought from 0-100 in 7 secs).

if talk about money, I am very shameful, my friend paied all expenses, I really can't tell you 'How much' and 'how to' apply test, Singaporean in China really like'countryside people go to city', I just took the key and went ahead to drive, I 'guess' it may be under new car test where the car mufer promote their product to provide this item to verify the paper decleration, whether they still are running this business, and it is under public or private, sorry I can't provide further info, anyway you can direct connect them.

I actually doesnt know about toyata car much cos I find their suspension too soft, I doesnt like it personally. But it is a great car to own, it do have comfort and near maintenance free if just normal driving. So, it is not suprise that Altis being awarded the best selling car in Spore.

I just sold/scrap Crying or Very sad my 5 yrs old ride (loose quite a bit), now driving rental car, wait for COE to drop further in 2006 and see if any good buy around Mr. Green

Since your guys still are so interested on 7secs, i have to tell the true,
i am quit luck, the sunny which i tested was made in china, its engine is 'shen zhou 6' space aircraft engine, Mad i was quit poor skill and took 7s to 100km/h, if you guys are skillful and can endure 9 times over-gravity, 0.7s send you to sky Mr. Green

both altis and sunny are not performance cars. i know of someone modd his altis quite heavily and had a run with a stock altis.stock altis managed to beat the modded one. maybe he mod it the wrong way.

altis deserves to be the best selling car. why? fanastic FC at 12-13km/l with 40 urban 60 highway ratio. outlook is classy and executive. interior could be better but the biege interior gives the car a classy look too. the car is affordable too

but of cos altis have it's problems. toyota seems to wanting to save on the manufacturing cost of the altis. as such the altis is issued only with 14 inch rims instead of the default 15. weak metal body and such.

i don't have much experience with the sunny but one of my friend had his booked. once he give his comments maybe we can share. but apparently the sunny got quite lousy fc...

One thing about Toyota cars is that their rear suspension is WAY too soft. You sit 3 people in the rear and your suspension goes all the way down! Potential undercarriage damage!
