the pillbox at pasir panjang around science park is still around
today. it's just along the road, right next to shell station. can
be seen clearly during the day. you can take a bus, drive or cycle
there if you wanna.
the memorial at bukit batok hill is long gone. only the steps
remain. and it's not about any grenade incident, the memorial with
the cross is to recognise the allied war dead. on top of the hill
was another to commemorate the japanese side war dead during the
invasion of malaya/singapore.
