I dunno abt the changes, but used to be full auto in FIBUA
during training with blanks . But not in live fire though, only
semi.
One thing, I did try fire full auto with one whole full mag of live
rds during a live firing exe( in this case , not FIBUA).
The muzzle keep on going up after a few rds, that is why they came
out with 3 rds burst, becos after the 3rd rds , you will shooting
above the target (i.e, wasting bullets).
Maybe this is also why we were taught to fire full auto with a "U"
shaped swing of the rifle in FIBUA, to compensate for the
propensity of the weapon going upward swing during full
auto.
