I have handled the Steyr Aug before, but hasn't fired
one..
But according to some private owners, the Aug, cannot maintain
sustained fire, generates too much heat to the barrel. That's why,
the Aug has a "quick barrel change" ability.
Anyway, Because of the mostly expose barrel, It's always advisable
to wear gloves and lond sleeves before and after firing, I'm told.
And I find shoulding and carrying the Aug is uncomfortable and the
expose barrel makes it awkward.
Is it true .. The AUG cannot hold sustain fire ?
