Y_Shun SG Anybody know why huh? My upstairs neighbour seems like those kids keep on playing marbles . I am so pissed by the sound ! Should I go upstairs and confront them???
Y_Shun SG It's the sound produced by the metal foundations of the building in the ceilings and floors when they contract in the night due to temperature changes. I think. This ish the answer?
ditzy SG I always thought it was the waterhammer effect, but then I know the waterhammer effect should sound like, and they don't sound like goli goli.
bangkokboy SG Interestingly, I've not encountered such sounds in Bangkok high-rise buildings. Neither have I heard it before in office and hotels, only in my HDB flat. Creepy yeah?
alwaysdisturbed SG haiyo, i live in the highest floor, also heard it. life goes on. there are even machinery noises at 3 or 4am. even water tanks don't make such noises and can't be the lift shafts right? just don't think so much about it la.
ditzy SG Ask your town council if your block comes with booster pumps to boost water pressure for the lower levels. They're located on the roof. The old type works on timer, the newer ones work on demand.
MyPillowTalks SG my pillow says that it is becos other pillowsare playing marbles at night, they cannot sleep
hatemeifuwantto SG scarely when u go up then the hse is deserted de..then u ask ur neighbours ur neighbours say the hse its haunted by a kid
