dragg SG i approached my neighbour upstairs for the 6th time yesterday. i practically ran up when i heard the sound. i found him sleeping on a rocking chair.
ditzy SG There can only be one more thing more scary than a ghost in your home, dragg as your neighbour.
MyPillowTalks SG later u see those bangalas playing marbles and cricket upstairs, then they will drink beer and coke together, and sing their song
dragg SG but one thing i know for sure. my neigbour's yelling is definitely not caused by water pipes. she did not yell, "tack, tack, tack, tack."
XTransbus SG best way to solve all the noises generated by your neighbors : throw a dry ice bomb inside their house.
Chris1988 SG alright this marble incident shouldn't be of any shocking news since its like experienced by almost all the people living in HDB. you don't experience all these stuffs in the office or hotels why? because its not HDB. the problem should lie with the HDB building itself IMO. and for those who say that they haven't heard of it before, perhaps they are too engrossed in something else or they simply weren't at home when the sound came.
dranoel maxwell SG yup yup same here i also heard furnitures moving sometimes, i can also feel the vibrations of the ceilings.
kaobeikaobu SG i suggest make this thread sticky..else few mths later someone's gona complain the same thing again..
<Precious> SG To the best of my memory, the result of HDB's investigation is that the noise of 'marbles' is actually produced by the cables of lifts going up and down which has undergone much distortion.
