The level? Militaries tend to go for the higher spectrum of protection. Level IIIA without plates and Level III plates with specified protection against the 5.56 AP round.

Nope... No body ever wants to chiong sua in that. But then again, ask me if I would mind wearing one when the rounds go whizzing by.

Well, noone wants to. Besides, he's only asking IF it is issued during conflicts, I don't see him clamouring for it. Neither is it certain that if body armour will or will not be issued come war.

Again I see no big deal in anyone asking that question. Everyone has the right to be curious.
