Hi guys,

Am interested to get this car ..

But not sure about the FC, does anyone drive this car care to provide his views on this car.

Really appreciate that ! thanks

Wink

Didn’t drive it, but heard FC around 10kpl. If FC is a concern, then don’t get it. Otherwise this car packs a punch and comes with most the standard features.

Hi Wbucket,

Thanks for your info.

In fact I am ready to buy this car. Am hunting around for the best bargain. Currently Komoco is offering $50,888 for an immediate. That's for all the basics like sport rims, rear spoiler, pioneer cd player, ... throwing in leather seats, reverse sensor.

I just want to check the market sentiments for this car.

Getz FC is ok ..acceptable .. so u enjoying 100% bank loan ?

Saggice SG

Getz is rather too small ?
dont u feel so ?

abit narrow

wbucket SG

Just park it beside my ride and it will grow significantly. Actually, for budget hot hatch, it is reviewed to be the most spacious car. Aveo losing out because its design somehow restrict the kind of thing you can squeeze.

ermm ....$50,888 for a Getz with COE? ..gee i still down under ..don't really noe car prices back home..but one thing for sure ..its darn cheap man ...i remember my fren telling me a Honda Civic 1.6L Manual cost $70,000 with COE 2 mths back ..how true is it ?

niceguy_123 SG

Thanks all for your kind information.

I have already bought the car yesterday nite when I visited the showroom again.

Freebies include :
Reverse sensor
Window visor
Leather seat
Solar Film

Standard accessories:
sport rims
rear spoiler
pioneer cd player
metallic console

I am wondering if it comes with remote control lock...forgot to ask the SE Rolling Eyes

100 % full payment. Cash and carry

Hi saggic,

Actually... quite alright for a budgetary compact car. I know can topped up another few ks like getting a Vios... or from Vios topped up another few Ks to get a Honda Jazz ...the feeling is endless. So I decided to compare between accent $44,444 and Getz $46,888.

Ended up I decided for the 1.6.

wbucket SG

1.6, 50k......manual? Full payment, wow you are 1 of those with so much money stash away.

niceguy_123 SG

It's an Auto. Basically have been waiting since 63k.

Anyway, nowadays It's hard to find good freebies if you are not taking up any loan.

eve2811 SG

Niceguy
oh ok ..remember, if u decided to sell/trade in car your,u have the outstanding of bank of loan of 10yrs added into your ride price .. and nowaday hyundai depreciation is high. Hope you could get what i meant as i was the victim either.

niceguy_123 SG

Hi eve,

Thanks for your workout. Basically, didn't take any loan. Make a full payment yesterday of 50,888. So 10 years depreciation is 50,888/10 = 5,888 /year.
Am I right?

eve2811 SG

oh u made full loan ..is both good and bad unless you going to keep your car till scrape. If intended to sell the market value is not very promising.

niceguy_123 SG

Basically, must say really like this car alot that prompted me to buy.

Someone can just afford a Lexus Rx300, some a mercedes...

Anyway, have been enduring since the 60+ k till now.. so I go for it.

I hope Getz 1.6 would be more better than 1.3 in terms of resale value if I decide to sell in future.

But meantime, I will just enjoy this car.
=)

eve2811 SG

Well getz 1.6 L is much more powerful than 1.3 L.
IF you have a small family ,think getz is suitable for you as it very sporty looking. Very good choice.

niceguy_123 SG

Thanks Eve, Wbucket and rest for replying.

Have a nice weekend.

Ah Wei SG

Hi Niceguy,

Cool....... pay up the full sum Smile

Anyway, yr depreciation might be considered as follows:-
(50888-parf) / 10

I believe yr parf might be ard 5k, so 50888-5000 (for example) / 10 will give you abt 4.5k a yr depreciation or something like that.

so_nice SG

wow..full payment! imagine u change all into $2 notes..the SE would probably gone crazy.

anyway, congrats to ur new ride!
