Learn what? Just need to know how much you can spend and then
squeeze yourself into that car. 
Even try recording how you spend a month? Then you know where
you are leaking. I usually invest in cheap sports, so able to have
fun and save-up. My first 2 year, I saved so much that I suddenly
decide to find out how much it is to get a car. After some tough
decision, got a cheap car to satisfy myself.
Simple life? Can afford a car at the age of 18 isn't simple at
all!!!
