there's 2 possibilities i think, either they will ask you to come back for a review or they just fail you straight..

but if you are not in the best, its better not to go for it .. you going for urs too? Smile

my thinking is that one cannot qualify for pilot training if any one is block.

hmmm...but i guess the blocking he's refering to is when one is having flu or sumthing? Smile normally people wont have blocked nose for nothing one rite?

dunno. i have one blocked nostril every morning >.< but the rest of the day its ok.. nah just wondering.. i’m still 15 =)

After BMT, u will probably do your air grading. If you pass this air grading, u will then go to OCS. Basic WIng Course will start in the professional term.
If u fail the air grading, your flying career in RSAF will end abruptly.

correct!
for a pilot... u have to go thru the following phases in chronological order:

1) Computerised Test
2) Medical Checkup at Paya Lebar
3) Interview
4) Go BMT
5) Go Air Force School balonglong 1st while they arrange for a date for u to go Tamsworth in Australia for airgrading.
6) Go Tamsworth for airgrading
7) Come back SG then go OCS for abt 2 mths under air wing.
Cool Here n beyond will be alternating between Air Force School n Australia, u will go australia for a further 11 mths for training.
*note: the interview or med checkup can both comes 1st.

another info is that once u sign the initial contract (i dunno how to spell the correct word, provin something 1), u will be receiving regular pay from Air Force.
abt $1975 b4 CPF, allowance will be given when u go overseas for training.
however if u fail the course at any point of time, u get to keep the $ they have given u so far but u r Out Of Course!

Just be warned that you will be expected to put your best effort into the course. If there is reason to believe that you are taking the RSAF for a ride and fail intentionally, you will be liable to pay for the liquidated damages. the amount is in hundreds of thousands...SIngapore dollars.
