Van houtan or Cadbuary's chocolates in the old rations. These
were wrap with cardboard.
The old rations had canned pork cubes, canned beans, pineapple jam,
and stuff like that.
Old or new - most guys would supplement rations with some of their
own personnal favourites. I brought mini cans of fruit cocktails in
my SBO.
