Its only allegations with no prove of any. 
The world once believed that the CIA had spies every where around
the world until the Iraq war that they, even Americans, learn that
CIA had no spy in Iraq & had to rely on back dated intelligence
& intelligence provided by other ally spy agency inorder to
justify before the United Nation for the right to got to war with
Iraq. 
Look at what happens now during the U.S Presidential election,
you've got a Presidential hopeful saying that because the
information justifying for the war in Iraq is wrong, the U.S
military should withdraw from the country immediately. I've to say
that should that happen, the world will be in much more danger as
Iraqis will be at a lost as to how their future should be heading
without Saddam & the U.S. The Iraqis would be angery &
easily influnced by the likes of OBL to carry out attacks around
the world in revenge for the state that they ended with. As you
know, OBL's attack plans will not just be focus on the U.S but
anywhere he can strike. 
And then theres the current "war" President whom a large number of
"peace-loving" people are focusing their hate for reason that they
do not fully understand. Not that this President is fantastic or
anything, rather he is simple & predictable. Lest then a year
into his term as President, he's faced with the responsibility of
9/11. He answered that with a war in Afghanistan to ensure that the
events of 9/11 would never happen again. Then he went to war with
Iraq, on the information provided by the CIA & its ally counter
parts, again believing that what he was doin was for the good of
the American people & the rest of the world if Saddam & his
WMD & terrorist links were to be destoryed. Now the
"peace-loving" people are accussing the President of going to war
with Iraq for the purpose of it oil, they some how forgotten about
the intelligence provided by the CIA & its counter parts.
The lesson here is this that allegations by CIA is whats resulted
in the current situation in the U.S Presidential elections.
Allegations are useless information unless proven otherwise. So, if
the Australian government do indeed have evidence of S'pore spying
then they should prove it.
