Yes a revamp! But ur justification for some services to start frm shenton way? IMO shenton way area vry quiet at the middle of the night, and oso some routes like 70, 162 and 700 do not ply the area coz maybe low loading during the aft hours so no need so much, so i guess 1 or 2 services thru shenton way area shld be enuf?

Marina Bay Sands crowded with taxis and private buses.There are peoples working at various nightclubs,Discotheques and Pubs around Shenton Way/Tg Pagar.

That's why I actually think 70, 107, 162 and 700 should still terminate at Shenton Way at night/on weekends but ply MBS and Suntec like 97.

I think 10 & 167 can deviate via MBS during weekends as Robinson Rd/Shenton Way already has 196 as an alternative to these 2 routes.

Good suggestion. Just that I would use Anchorvale St instead of Anchorvale Road to cater to future hospital complex as well.

Instead of Boon Lay, start/end at Joo Koon.

1. Skip Boon Lay Way as thereâs already 30.

2. Skip AYE and Jurong Town Hall Road as thereâs already 49.

3. From Joo Koon, ply Benoi Road and Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, all the way to Corporation Road.

4. From Corporation Road, ply Boon Lay Way to Jurong Town Hall Road, via Lakeside and Chinese Garden.

5. From Jurong Town Hall Road, ply the original route north wards.

People at Bukit Batok West Avenue 3 can take the re-routed 178 to Boon Lay Way, Corporation Road and Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, and vice-versa.

The re-routed 178 could replace route 256.

Idea for Route amendment for service 925# (Woodlands --> CCK):

Woodlands Temp Int --> Current routing to Kranji Way (Opp PUB Headquarters) --> Neo Tiew Cres --> Neo Tiew Road --> Lim Chu Kang Road --> Old CCK Road --> Same routing as 975 --> CCK Int

Rationale:

1. Improve connectivity to kranji countryside, especially to places such as D'Kranji Farm Resort, Bollywood Veggies, Kranji Marshes (becoz I saw the kranji express minibus being packed to the brim on weekends, coz a lot of visitors want to visit these places deep into kranji not served by public buses).

2. A good route duplication for 975 to relief loadings, especially CCK Ave 3 to CCK area

Downsides:

1. Could cause a possible competition with kranji express shuttle service. The operations of it has recently been rather bumpy as due to high operational costs, only a few farms are willing to pay for it to run. If 925# does run on weekends, the service could be further affected and hence might even withdraw in the future, affecting workers and visitors travelling there.

2. Idk how the loading would be, but it could end up quite empty still

3. Only operates on weekends, so the loading problem faced by residents on 975 cannot be effectively tackled :(

BPS1 can renumbered to 928..Good demands so better revised back the operation time.If possible operate on Saturday also.926 another good demand service.

926 Friday 1000-1900 Saturday 1030-2030 Sunday/Holiday 0900-2000.

Does anyone see value in introducing svc 927M from CCK Interchange looping @ Mandai Estate?

I see there is heavy loading between Woodlands road to connect to CCK and svc 927 are usually quite full. The frequency is quite low as the demand for zoo is not as much during week days, hence on weekdays they can ply 927 with lower frequency and 927M with higher frequency, possibly even with DDs.
