SMRT had already start to remove O405Gs out of service.

You don't need to state the obvious.

But they have not been all de-registered or taken out of service.

Prepared to see extension and shortened service in future.GA and TT plus the Seletar winner only had Bt Merah to bid..After 2021 we dont even know TT/GA still exists or not.

Hi mr sbs3004X, I am not too sure what you mean by duration. The loyang package is for 5 yrs won by Go ahead group.

There will be operation of Punggol services everyday. Bus services are basic necessities and will not be stopped no matter which company wins the render. Cheers. Thanks.

Wait and see. It will be very slow move.

Premium services takes time to redevelop into the new bus contracting model. Separate bus companies will take premium services, or just withdraw it if there is more trips in City Direct or additional premium service.

I would have originally expected some current services from SMRT to be mixed with current SBST services in the package and therefore make SBST operate them as a result...but sadly they did not.

SBS Transit is getting $91.7m per year per contract, while SMRT is getting $103.6m per year per contract.

Both are far below TT's award amount per year for Bulim ($111.2m), and for SBS Transit even lower than Go Ahead's amount for Loyang ($99.5m).

Obviously TT is being seen as a "premium operator" here, even though it is not the case in Australia.
