sohguanh SG Ok i got mahjong question can I tag to this thread? You all know when got flower or gong you will take one tile from the other side rite? Suppose when you draw from that side and it happen to be your winning tile and also self rub scenario. So the counting is how many tiles you have on hand + 1 more since the winning tile is drawn from that side? Is the above counting correct?
monoslayer SG (original tiles money +1 bcos of "flower up aka hua shang") x double bcos of self rub.. but max is capped at 5 tiles
sohguanh SG One more trivial mahjong question. When got 4 of the same tiles you all shout gong3 or kan3 ? And when win you all shout game or hu2 or gao3 ? Hehehehe....

monoslayer SG i will shout "gang"! when win game, "hu" or "gao" makes no difference to me.. normally i will jus flip open all my tiles n say win liao!

monoslayer SG both r win the game in the 1st round.. "tian hu" is only applicable to the host of tat round. tat means when he open his 14 tiles, he can win without discarding any tiles.. "di hu" is applicable to the other 3 players.. open their 13 tiles n wait for the winning tile in the 1st round..

dragg SG you are short of one 9 right? it should be 1,1,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,9,9 you are referring to jiuzilianhuan where all numbers can win.
DriftingGuy SG I think most peeps play max 5 tai only la.. Even if I get 18 immortals (gang 4 times and hu eyes) which is worth 18 tai I still win 5 tai only
