Sooner or later feeders and intratowns have to use DDs instead..
then can leave the A24s for airport svcs only. Bo bian mah.
They can do a mix. Some feeders can do v well with DDs where the
estate/alighting point is further away from MRT.
CCK
300 -> B (most loading comes from 1st 3
stops along CCK Ave 4)
301 -> D (most loading comes along Keat Hong Close/Ave 6)
302 -> B (preferable due to two MRTs)
307 -> S (no need for B/D)
308 -> S (no need for B/D, if demand surges, DDs should be
okay as Keat Hong estate is quite far from MRT)
WDL
900 -> D (alighting points along WDL Ave 4)
901 -> D (alighting points along WDL Ave 1)
903 -> D (most people alight along Marsiling estate)
904 -> S (don't think this service will need HC buses)
911 -> D (can do well given that serves only WDL MRT)
912 -> B (prefer bendies as it serves 3
MRTs)
913 -> B (prefer bendies as it serves 2 MRTs
+ stops along Woodlands Circle quite close to Admiralty)
Yishun
800 -> B (prefer bendy as most loading comes
from 2 stops along ring road that are <5 min away from
interchange. Otherwise full route 800 is strictly SD loading)
803 -> S (service will not need HC buses)
804 -> D (will do well with DDs as most load is towards
Yishun st 41/ave 1 which is far from MRT)
805 -> S (does not need HC buses, in future if demand surges
can use DDs given that ave 1 is further away)
806 -> D (demand is at ave 6/ring road, both quite far from
MRT)
811 -> B (preferable to use bendy as it
loops Yishun MRT multiple times + Khatib with stops pretty quickly
from interchange/MRT)
812 -> B (prefer to use bendy but on this
service DDs can be quite okay also)
So overall following feeders/intra-towns can continue use
bendies:
300 (10), 302 (16), 800 (5), 811 (12), 812 (6), 912 (12), 913
(12).
* Just above 7 services will take 73 bendies more than the 40
WAB bendies available
