Hi i am new to the forums. Anyway, today i spotted ex KJ bendies TIB1027A and TIB1204E along the Marymount Rd stretch on 851.

I would say since last week, ex KJ bendies have been seen frequently on 851 in a unfixed rolling deployment. (TIB1150/1212/1027 etc). I dont see the usual AMDEP bendies like (1096/1099/1112/1113/1147) as frequently since last week. I see no capacity changes to the service which is a pity given how neglected it has been.

Regardless of whether it is DD suitable or not, it should have been upgraded with bendies at the very least.

If 851 cannot use DDs then can deploy the ex-854 bendies mah.

851 can use DD imho..Its just that SMRT think that they're losing those Yishun BCM only..See 852 until now also 14 buses.

U mean there are more than 1 DD? Replace SD or Bendy slot?

I didnt say there are height restrictions along 851 route and didnt think so... someone else did. But thats not important.

851 just one of the last priority for SMRT.

Now lets hopw 167/980 can get some too.

For me,Its enough if they just deploy 5-6 A95s rather than deploy those bendies.Some BCs also say its quite stressful driving bendies in CBD especially if there is jams

Yes as long as its HC, and there arent enough A24's to go around anyway. The O405G's are not WAB and many are in horrible condition.

Should send a few more of the O405G's to 860 and kick out a few shitaros though.

So it seems that the perm 851 bendies are out for good and were meant to be replaced by the A95's. Any bendies on 851 now seem to be fully cameos.

But as carbikebus bro says, next week then we know for sure.

Look out for SG5751 & 5759 might be perm.860 also can try 3 DDs if they want..11 Citaros and 3 A95s should be okay.Next please add 1 more full day bus for svc 852.

Lets hope 804 and 811 can get some too, after 851. So 806 can be WAB friendly in time for Sungei Seletar handover.
