Well... it was introduced way before its time... Just like 944 going empty right now... 944 will be packed to door in mid 2018... same way 883 spent many months with less than 10 pax on the bus or even totally empty buses.

Of course 883 is required for Canberra estate with the huge number of flats... just like 944 is required for BBT West town.

83 & 85:Reduce to 50% SD/DD

359:Need 2-3 peak hour DD to cope with St 11/51 loadings.

386:Problem is Edgefield/Edgedale roundabout which is not tri-axles DD friendly.

In spite of 883, 117 should also go in to Canberra estate as it further connects to Khatib, Seletar Circus and Punggol.

There's certain timings where 136 can get packed.Maybe 1 full day and 2 split DD is enough.

i doubt ppl take 117 from sembawang to yishun per se but prefer the mrt coz of its shit frequency. Personally i think it is time to let 117 go to Canberra too.

Sidenote: I saw a couple of residents telling MP Lee Bee Wah they dont have direct connection frm sembawang to punggol coz 117 too long. Maybe they too bad lah, coz i dun think there will be any services more direct that 117 le

aiyah use beeline/grabshuttle lah. Normal public bus dun have then use that one lo. If rly dun have then use the uber and grab everyone loves
