656 went from 4 trips to 3 trips under SMRT and use A22, as
compare to those "coaches" which have around 45 seats....
i dun mind DDs, but many ppl are against DD...
anyway, 851 DDs are well utilized (at least for those AM peak
trips toward city). upper deck are alway full along marymount.
SMRT always like to shortchange de la... nothing new
If people dun want DD then more bendies? Then LTA will say very
road-space wasting.
851 always have potential for good loading because the route it
serves and it is actually not very winding. Even evening as
well - A22 reaching Yishun is fully seated with 3/4 standees.
I am sure if they put HC buses on 167/980 their loadings will
improve too, but SMRT wont coz SMRT want to herd and chase more
people to their godforsaken but money-spinning NSL.
