Mhcampboy, thanks for the info. Yeah i'm not planing to stay in
a condo or pvt aptmt. Wow i'm bit surprised about the other
expenses being around 2K. i was thinking that i'd get by on
1-1.2k(at the max). And yes i'm not planning on continuing in Sg
for more than 2 yrs, so savings is an impt aspect. Guess i'd better
try my luck in negotiating for a bit more.
But i do wonder, if the cost of living is so high, shouldn't the
general salaries also be higher to adjust for it?
Or is it just that engineering is not one of the in demand
professions in sg?
