u dunno that from 1988 onwards, u can only register to get ur driving license at 21? which is 3 yrs from now? What happened to have such rule in sg?

i have to disagree la. Maturity 1stly has nothing to do with age. 2ndly ability to drive a car has nothing to do with maturity or age.

If we're to ban immature people from driving cars with an age ban, the only ppl allowed to take the driving test will have to be..... infinity aged. Laughing

It's ok I'll sum up what I had say. Basically in that long post of mine, I still stand by my views and whatever mistakes I could have probably made I apologized for that. nevermind la. i suppose it was a bit of a mental challenge trying to get someone who has a comprehension problem to understand some rather abstract notions. Its like... trying to tell the blind how a colour looks like.

Aiyah you make me post again Mr. Green But nooo... I didn't think of the debate of win or lose in that kind of straightforward manner le.. It's just that I feel that I didn't "lose" out on anything because I take everything in life including this as a meaningful and valuable experience that can be "gained". And it doesn't matter if anyone thinks of me like this or like that because to each his own and everyone has their own personal point of views. And no not another debate on this please Mr. Green

Anyway I have always wondered about the words 'generalisation' and 'stereotyping'. Are they totally wrong?

to add to HENG >>> our society a "social " space where there are tons of pple whom make generalisations without finding the facts ,especially u always assume anything / anyone without deeper knowledge >> through hearsays ,rumours etc >>> this resulted in invalid jusitification of anything/ / the person's character >> anyone
can criticise/say /degrade others but these ppl whom criticise , are they even perfect in the first place...??

thats why maturity cant say/ goes for any age >>as far as a 15 years old student can be as matured as compared to a 30s -- 40s married ppl with or without kids .... Mr. Green
