If i am not wrong, from a newspaper article long ago, its been
reported that World Intellectual Property Organization or something
requested the 3 ISPs in Singapore to help track p2p. Thats during
the Kazaa times. Still remember that one being caught using Kazaa
will be warned and on a second-time offence, will be fined S$10 000
for every item downloaded.
Anyway, heard P2P in Canada is completely legal. Most countries,
for example Singapore, allow P2P only if the downloaded item is not
copyright protected (mostly all boring stuff). And WIPO is now
adding pressure on governments around the world to ban P2P
