Is it true that the transfer speed of bluetooth on PDA phones are very slow?? I heard from my friend that sending a file which is less then 1MB can take up to 1 hour...

Why is that so?? Or is it because his has a problem?

wah O_O it shudn’t be so slow bah.. i transfer my photos from my 750i to my pc frequently and a 500kb file takes only abt 20 seconds?

Bluetooth is supposed to be rather fast. I can send 2-3mb per min from my phone to my frens and my computer.

me running at 40Kb/s.

with Wi-Fi interference, it can drop to 5Kb/s though.

if i'm using intensive wireless while bluetoothing to my phone, it'll become slow. when i'm outside with my friends and i send files to my frens, it's okay.

If ya friend's O2 mini sends file that take ages.. it's time to send it to the service centre loh. BT's transfer rate is rather fast. Even a 3-5 MB of song transfer from Computer to my phone takes a few mins.

No, I'm using a SE W800i. That's not the point cos if your friend's O2.. which cost more than my phone... and his BT is slower than mine.. something is wrong rite? haha. Ok ok.. anyway.. that's not really the point. There could be some software conflicts or hardware prob cos it won't take that long to send a 1MB file in a hr or so via BT.

There are many types of BT class, meaning BT Class1 Class2 Class3 etc. Perhaps a tranfer from a Class4 to Class10 will be slow, due to the software/hardware perhaps
