Hey there,
Slacker - stock Evos come with CBVs - compressor bypass valves. You
dun get the "psss" sound as the CBVs re-circulates the air back
into the intake. WRXs - come with BOVs that gives you the release
of pressure sounds. An EVO that has a BOV has done some aftermkt
mods.
Megatron - T-timers or turbo times, keep the engine running even
tho the driver has removed the car key and is on his way to buy his
cup of coffee. Main reason is when the car has been rev-ed hard,
the EVO engine gets extremely hot. The engine actually uses the
engine oil to cool the engine. Once the engine stops running, so
does the oil flow. Hence, a t-timer is used.
