I can vouch that the EVO 8 is fun. You can
drive it like any normal car – and it can go like a mad monster if
you so desire. Prepare for high insurance. Maintenance cost like
any new car should really revolve around your petrol cost. If you
drive everywhere like you need to get there the minute before, you
can easily spend $400-500 per month. If you drive it like a normal
car, you can keep petrol cost down to about $200 (i.e. like any 2
litre car). Modifications are not truly necessary – but if so
desire, its easy to do so and there are many places that will
gladly help out in this respect. Best thing about the EVO 8, its exclusivity compared to its closest
competitor.
