sure...some ppl 'feel comfortable' in turbocharged engines while
others swear by naturally aspirated engines...to turbo or not to
turbo...its everyones' pick.
ps...got respest for dc5...not many 200bhp na engines
around.[/b][/quote]
anyway from a purely racing point of view... a turbo engine beats a
NA engine anytime.
turbo has more torque, by adjusting the boost settings, u can have
the max torque come out at a lower rpm, thus eliminating lag.
Having to rev a Na engine up till 6k rpm for its max torque is a
waste of time. because the turbo engine would already be in 2nd
gear, and due to lower rpms involved less stress is placed on the
car. as for the drivetrain layout, well, 4WD over FF anyday.
anyway im trying to run a program called lapsim. it simulates lap
times for diff kids of cars and calculates how a diff setup will
affect the laptimes. trying to compare a FF and a 4WD car.
