assuming speechie can get her car by 23 oct, then the logical meetup can be 30 oct (sat) onwards.

so the options are 30 oct or 6 nov, both are saturdays, say 2pm. west coast macdonalds. we just meetup for coffee and fries and take photos.

Hi Nitrate, welcome, have you gotten your car yet?

Saw another K12 (an Olive Green) Mr. Green last night at about 9pm when i was on BKE towards the north, hmm and realised we don't have a Olive green here. Neutral And also chocolate ones.

We can have a lil meetup first and then have another one in mid Dec Idea

hi fellow marchies,

for those who have been driving the march for some time,

1. what's the fc like ?
2. how's cornering like when you are alone in the car ? will it feel like toppling
when you turn at high speed ?

1. i have hit 4500km so far, divided by the petrol i pumped total todate, its abt 14.5km/l

2. the high speed cornering not very good, at eg 120km/h. think its becos of the high CG and also partly the seat is not wrapping causing your arse to slip on the seat. someone in UK here was trying to lower the spring

the SE at Tan Chong wrote to me to say abt fuel comsumption, she said " ......Another customer told me he just drove up to KL at 160km/h in his ,little march and it was v stable....another told me they managed to hit 16km/ litre, so the fuel consumption was a plesant surprise for them......"

I am getting about 13km per litre but I drive it pretty hard. Could be the K&N filter that causes the disparity because I was having more economy with the stock paper filter.

I think the ride is very comfortable but it is at the expense of cornering abilities. I settled the issue with a change of suspension.

boringsilver, what did you do to the suspensions? got any recommended vendor?

The lowering springs that are available in singapore to my knowledge
No waiting required : KG/MM DR21 Supersport and RsR springs

So many other brands for lowering springs (order and wait for shipment)

Alternatively if an upgrade of shock absorbers is what you are after

If you wish to consider the full suspension upgrade (must order and wait for shipment)

I have a set of KG/MM DR21 Supersport progressive lowering springs on hand for which I am letting go for $190. Bought them at $380 but removed them because I upgraded my suspension after that. The ride height is 30mm down.

Wow maybe we should meet up and check out your ride and you could give us some pointers. Anyway by lowering your suspension, will your chassis not hit those high humps or when your car is fully loaded? Or are the shocks hard enough to damp out the motion? After changing the suspension, does it significantly improve your cornering at higher speed? Sorry abit inquisitive and i have so many things i wanna ask, hee hee. Razz
