At present, I can only say that you are speaking for yourself because as far as i know thru many tele-conversation/gatherings with Fellow K12 Drivers over the past few days we have move on and peace have been established within the two parties(Guys/Gals correct me if i am wrong here) so please do not use the word 'We' because i take offense to that and also to those who called me and told me about your thread, Please consolidate your facts first before you mentioned the word 'we'
In addition to that, if you are back here trying to create "Bad Vibes" between both parties i suggest you work alot harder.

Anyone has done up their K12 elegance with leather seat? care to share? saw some message on elegance not able to do leather. Is this true? waiting for my K12 delivery, would like to know any lobang on this and roughly how much?

hi Capi good of you to join us ...I've attached some past posting by Tedz on leather seats and if you want more details on the exchanges between the few of them, you can go to page 28 of this forum. I am also driving an elegance version and have given up on getting leather seats, coz of the 6 air bags thingy and i do not wanna mess around with them. Might cost a bomb to replace them if they are activated. Hope this helps.

What about other company besides jackspeed. Any fellow marchies did their leather seats besides jackspeed?

Just to share, I have called up jackspeed and this person Jackie told me they can do leather seats for elegance. He told me that the driver and passenger air-bag is sensitive and during installation, 1 in 10 may light up the air bag light on the speedo. To re-activate cost $70 and this is not covered.

Still thinking whether to do leather for my elegance. Any feedback for the fellow marchies?

May just get the car first and decides later

about two months ago, i saw a silver elegance marchie at orchard cineleisure with leather seats....

i asked my SE and he said it can be done, altho not advisable. if i want, it wld cost about $1000 to get it done up.

yeah am interested in leather seats too. Smile i heard from a friend that the elegance seats become quite crummy after a few months, so i thought of changing them. plus, i've got sinus, nose allergies and all, so suede aint' good.

my SE said it's Nissan leather, that's why so ex. You think jackspeed can give us a better deal if we do it together? anyone else in this forum interested?

i'm only getting my car end Jan... Sad but i'm definitely keen on getting my seats leathered up.

what my SE said was to just use the car for a few months until the seats are crummy, then go change. He said no point changing it immediately... which is true...

Actually SE is just offering the leather seats from jackspeed at this price, maybe can get better outside not sure.
As for the use of the stock seat, it really depends on individual, for me I am more on changing it immediately.

If I started off with the stock seat, I may end up not leathering it up because later on feel too ez liao. Wink

oh... so your SE is offering you jackspeed seats at that price... argh, my SE why offer me so ex one? maybe cos they're "NISSAN". anyway, i hear jackspeed ones are quite good too.

since you can't wait, and i'm only getting my car end jan/early feb... i guess you're going ahead to do it first? i'm out of town now (ah, the wonders of technology), only back next week. i will call jackspeed up to check then....

What do you mean by stock seat? You mean to change to leather seats you must change the entire seat? No right, just cover the original seats with leather only right? But with that does it mean that your 4 other airbags are useless now? Or they can still be activated even with the leather seats Question
