Hooking up the EVO IV

thanks WRX. 2:54 with a evo… thats really fast. btw, did you see my most recent post? about me trying to hook up a new EVO IV. so what do you think about that?

are you sure EVO 4 can run Akina with 2:54???its like totally impossible you know, if it can run so fast at Akina, no point for me to train GC8V already what???

so i got 2 qns for you.

1) In irohazaka, do you think Evo 4 is faster or GC8V is faster??

2) to compare the pick up speed, is EVO 4 faster or is it GC8V faster???

i'm sure a lot of our guys here is eager to know this.

i’ve tried that man…. GC8V indeed is faster… that’s why i’m thinking all ways to try making the EVO faster so the difference wouldn’t be that big.

CAT, i managed to cut a second off my akagi down timing, in the low 2.21s. aiming for 2.20s now.
Usui left is in the low 2.48s, aiming to break into the high 2.47s
akina... still stuck at low 3.06s or 3.05s leh...

ever since i changed to the 6 spoke Enkeis, the car become very good to drive. either the bronze volk 6 spokes or the white enkei 6 spokes are both a delight to drive.

My EVO IV has 1590000+ points, rims is the white 6 spoke enkei. i think yours is the volk racing one? bozz dual muffler too! ^5. I think im using the option C front spoiler, Initial D lightened EVO IV wing. Red.

1)if I no wrong.GC8V pickup is faster then EVO4.and because of this I nomally block all the way.

2)I also not sure.did not have the chance to play with EVO player.
must try every map then will know.if wants to know the ans.we need to get two auto gear car to play.then we will know which is faster.

If u mean akina down 3.06 or 3.05 then u need people to teach u.if u mean akina up 3.06 or 3.05 then I need u to teach me already.first hints at akina is try every hard no to hit the wall.if u can do that.I believe u at least can hit 3.00.then slowly gain the turning speed 1 by 1 until u comfirm which speed can use to trun on which corner.after that try again and again until u really used to the speed.if u can do that.U will improve in a weeks times.second .your car must at least 1million point. great. i'm loving my GC8V. My car is now around 400 000 points. today i went to bugis to challenge ppl, won 10 games and lost 2 games. from previously level 1, now upgrade to level 4 already. i'm so happy.

it indeed is a very powerful car. so more i challenge a DC2 at Akina down hill and i won him with the timing of 2:55!!! hahaha...

Not bad. I too also have a GC8V but english version. Many of the DC2 have been beaten by my GC8V. Great car. Level 12 now currently.

But then.. are we drifting too much that we are drifting out of topic of Evo IV Embarassed Rolling Eyes

lol… yeah what happen guys??? i’m driving a EVO IV. not a GC8V…. lol.. but indeed, no doubt the GC8V is alot faster than the EVO..well.. anyway..give me some pointers if i’m hooking my EVO IV the right way… if you guys don’t know how i’m doing it.. it’s on the previous post..

Your Evo IV is doing up the way which is made of more acceleration. Sounds ok to me as I also wanna do it that way to. As for the wing, I will have the GT wing. Although it spoils the look, but then I need the pickup of speed.

thanks WRX and Lonely. for that forum, i’ve been there and i’ve read about that post. and for Lonely, thought you might wanna know. well. i’ve start hooking the Evo IV. and i’m glad to say the direction it’s going is pretty positive.. i can feel the speed. it’s faster in acceleration and it got speed too. i’ve done finishing first half of the step which is completing Tune A. and i’ve switch to Tune B now. just change the muffler to the Bozz Speed twin muffler. i’m now waiting for the rear wing and the 6 spoke Enkei tires. you think i’ll be able to do a 2:56 or 2:57 on myogi (easy ) when it’s fully tune with 990000 points ?

oh yeah.. the tune’s fast and stuff but i notice it got no top speed…. it max was like 202…. so you guys think that kind of tuning give you speed and acceleration but less max speed ? or is it because it’s not fully tune yet ?

2'56 - 2'57 should not be a problem on myogi when your Evo IV is fully tuned. I have seen 2'55 by a Evo IV specialist here.

My Evo IV can turn at the grand curve at the speed of 195 - 198 without banging (350k point tune).

As for the MONSTER and EMPEROR stickers, I have not experiment that before but chances is hard to get them back. I know this might sounds insane but then dun look down on the stickers. They really do makes a very small difference in pickup speed. Tested and proven by experts.

yeah….thought you might wanna know… i manage to do a 199 for the grand hairpin yesterday… and the car’s not even fully tune yet… i definitely believe that EVO’s got alot of potential in them. i totally believe it have the ability to do a 200 or more.
