if you have a high fever, bone and muscle aches, burning
sensation in the eyes, diarrhoea, cough and runny nose, rash, or ur
skin is flushed, dengue fever. nothin much to be worried about yet
cuz u still can make it to a hospital in time.
if you have abdominal pain or vomitting lasting 2-4 days, nose
bleeds, gum bleeds, vomit blood, black stools, red pinpricked-sized
spots dues to sponatneous bruising, then ur in trouble, serious
trouble. what doctors will do is get your blood sample for testing.
if i'm not mistaken, in viral infections, thrombocytopenia sets in.
meaning your whi8te blood cell count will be unusually low. also,
in the case of dengue haemorrhagic fever, your platelet count also
drops, that's why you bleed like nobody's business...best not to
try your luck here.
