And he gets a 20 second penalty for that move on Button....as expected.

Only thing I can't fathom is why he did not give that position back to avoid that penalty....the way WTCC drivers do.

Yeah....the last time I went to Maju. I did a 11.04.

And now the clock show me 12.52.

I was darn shocked.

I was pretty sure that I was already ekking out a 2 min flat per lap rate at worst.

Maybe its Khatib.

But Khatib's static stations are well-known for being lax. I didn't think the 2.4 was that hard. Althought the previous time I went there, I had trouble trying to keep below 11.40 and I thought it was because I was concentrating too much on long-distance runnings and too few 30-60 type of training.

The monetary expansion coming from all the central banks is wrecking havoc everywhere. They are currently printing shit-loads of money to try to "jump-start the global economy".

And most astoundingly, the stupid stock market plays with everything, including food of all things.

Of course that's when things goes bonkers, as it is now.

it is their fault..

they "liberalised" public housing.. instead of taking responsibility for people selling their HDB flats to upgrade/downgrade or whatever, in the past they bought the flats at a fixed price and sold it at the fixed price..

but no.. the allowed the goddamned PUBLIC HOUSING flats (supposedly built by public funds) to be traded in the open market.. which created the bubble and the fucked up housing mess we have now.. all for stamp duties and GST..

if you looked at the inflation for the past few months, almost all of it came from 2 things.. which brings me to the next bit...

transport... the fucked up COE has got out of hand.. in fact, it is pushing the other bits of the inflation basket to the stratosphere....

the normal person can't even think about affording a car anymore... not when the COE is 3 times the actual cost of the car.. and there's also excise too...

this is driven up by the businessman who decides he wants a merc to replace his old merc... so he goes and just tells cycle & carriage to get a merc... the dealer goes out and bids really high because the businessman wants his merc.. the businessman says "meh.. $100k COE? i'll just charge my customer $1.10 instead of $1"

it is real because that happened to one of my neighbours.. he's got a pile of mercs and other cars but he just passes the costs to his customers...

that's inflation.. but he doesn't know it nor cares.. he's got his merc...

MBT has a lot to answer for... because these things were highlighted to him, and to the assholes in parliament.. and to everyone else who refused to listen..

they didn't give a shit because we, the citizen would pay for it.. not them.. it is never them

it's an "honest mistake" and they move on.. telling everyone not to play the blame game..

well, the blame game is necessary to make them account for their errors.. which the country is paying for.. and may possibly be destroyed because of their greed

The most scary part is that MBT is but a product of the current system....

As for houses, as you guys might recall, I did a study on affordability.

My conclusion was that, segmenting the PUBLIC housing market was going to lead to unhappiness simply because you can't call it PUBLIC, when some of it is designed to be out of reach for the average folks!

Unfortunately, and what I found to be sad, was that my conclusion was rejected by my fellow group-mates who insisted that it was better to segment the market because that way, the rich and poor get allocated what they prefer more efficiently.

That, is the reason why the MIW is still in power.
